Import causes 403 Forbidden Error
« on: May 23, 2005, 08:03:44 pm »
After I select the file to upload, I get the opportunity to match the fields in the file with the database variables.  So far, so good.  When I tell it to continue, it comes back with a 403 error on edituser.php.  My error log looks like this:
[Mon May 23 18:58:21 2005] [error] [client 68.1.122.XXX] mod_security: Access denied with code 403. Pattern match "(/dev/shm|/tmp|/var/tmp|/var|wget|/home/virtual|/etc/)" at ARGS_VALUES [hostname "www.xxxxxxxx.com"] [uri "/lm/edituser.php?list=1&import=1"] [unique_id hd3CI0LRRsAAAB0nGKsAAAAd]

What is wrong?

Unfortunately I haven't seen this error before and don't know exactly what is causing it - you might want to talk to your host about it.

Another way to import your file is to upload it via FTP to the ListMail folder and manually type the filename into the 2nd box on the CSV Import page.

I tried the import using your suggestion, and it works great!  Thanks for a great product and your prompt reply!
