WARNING to any new potential users...
« on: July 23, 2009, 08:09:28 AM »
While being a long time user and still am of Listmail I feel it's only fair to warn any new potential users that the Owner/Author of Listmail is no longer providing any kind of support for it and there has been no development work on it for several years ( this post is July 2009 ).

It's also fair to say that I still use and love listmail and it is still useable, but don't expect any support from the author...

I'd suggest you do a chargeback with your credit card company if you haven't had any reply.

Dead seems to have disappeared completely.

Very disappointing for the many customers who have been waiting for a new version.  Particularly frustrating because many of us were quite happy to pay for new features rather than expect them for free.

I would not have expected this. I am truly screwed since I have always paid him to set it up on my server. Are there any experts in this forum that are willing to help someone that is challenged by the setup process for a fee?

Yes, I am very able to do this. I have been working with Deans script for over 5+ years. Since the start. Get up with me (webmaster@boaze.com) and we can get hooked up.

cwboaze,

Can you give an estimated cost for your services for a "typical" setup?

Thanks!

Hi Don,

depends. If I am understanding you correct. Are
you talking about setting up the server to mail
and setting up the mailer ?

or just the mailer on your server.

if it's just the mailer it's $35

Hi,

I "guess" it's just the mailer on the server.  My system is currenly working but I want to be prepared just in case I need to move to a new host.

Thanks!

Don
