Development, Suggestions / Suggest implement Request read receipt

Hi, recently some email can't go to recipient inbox directly, and it go to junk mail.

I realize that by setting to request read receipt or High Priority, recipients always can receive in Inbox rather than bulk mail.

also I suggest implement a small tag at appropriate place in the admin interface to show the server date time(dynamic).

Although these are small and non important thing, but sometimes it really give convenient to us.

This is my suggestion.

General Help & How-To / Need advice on cron task

Hi, I realize that my listmail script always suddenly stop working. The cron always suddenly stop and I doesn't receive any DailyMail report. (when cron stop silently)

I also have other type of script that using cron task. And I receive the cron notification without any problem.

But for listmail, it always having this problem. When I ask the host, it check and say everything in cron is fine.

Am not very understand now, the cron is working fine, but when come to listmail, the cron cannot work properly.

Any advice?

Hi dean,

Are you still recommend DreamHost?

I surf through the DreamHost forum and found that quite a lot of problem with their email posted by others

And I saw a message that hourly sending limit is 200 email.

Can you give some advice or sugggestion?

I plan to change host.

General Help & How-To / Help~ Follow ups Stop at sequence #9

When click to add more follow ups, i add the new follow ups message at the end of the list.

When add, i also tick the
"Update all users on this followup to new delay"

But it seems to have error. All of my subscriber that long time ago already at the User Sequence #9, until now still at #9. (it should be change to >9 already, cos I already add many new followups at the end of the list)

My subscriber doesn't receive further followups that i add into the list.

Help!!

hi, I would like to know whether LMP have this feature?

For example: When I send out email to others with the ---- From email address: abc@hotmail.com

Due to it is gone through the server when send out the email, there will be the record there.

When the user that receive email, it will stated FROM: abc@hotmail.com, when he click on view source, he will know that actually it is actually the real address xyz@mydomain.com

What If I don't want it to be xyz@mydomain.com, but I need it to be xyz@gmail.com?

Does the SMTP Server (recommended) and Authorize by Checking Email work in this case?

Should I fill in "Host: pop.gmail.com" and "Host:smtp.gmail.com"?

It will send using the smtp and pop3 at gmail, but I can do setting here so that I can use schedule email in this case. How can I do it?

What are the details that I need to fill in in order to make it work correctly?

When I try with another email that have smtp and pop3 which the smtp port is:25 , I get this error:

hi, I am not very sure how to use the link tracking after seeing your FAQ page.

URL (Hidden in email) http:// is optional : http://www.earnbest.com

When I click on Test, it able to gone through the tracking link , then go to homepage (earnbest.com), but I can't see the Link Hits change.

I then copy this--- !link_#1 to mailing list and send real testing. Then I receive this in my email

http://earnbest.com/listmail/link.php?id=20322ed#1

But when I click on it, "link not found.." message come out.
What happened?
Am I doing something wrong in the setting?

sir, after I hit Backup, and go to see the attach folder, doesn't have backup file generated

the path I try before is:

And, my host correct path is $sqlpath= /usr/bin/mysql

I plan to upgrade to v1.8, but since this backup function not working, what should I do?

What if I download the backup in .gz from the cpanel>backup ?
What if I export all the sql table file from phpmyadmin ?

Will it affect the file... when I restore backup if I use these method?

sir, I want to confirm with you about a question.

Is it when the cron task work correctly, I will receive DailyMail everyday even thought no mailing list or follow up to be sent out at that particular day?

I confuse, i didn't receive dailymail report at all. The only way I will receive Dailymail report is by going to click "Run DailyMail" , but I think this is not suitable, due to it will make the time faster.

What happened actually?

My question is :
i had create a few schedule email. FOr example, schedule email for 11 nov, 12 nov and 13 nov.

Then, when the schedule mail for 11 Nov have been sent out, it vanished at the Schedule email there(record). How do i remain it, so that i can know what schedule email i have sent out before.

Any solution?

General Help & How-To / Question on Attachment and SSH problem

At Follow up, i can successfully upload attachment, but when click on "set attachments", it seems nothing happened.

And at the Welcome Email and confirmation email , there also have the add attachment icon, but when i click on it, it seems nothing happen with the icon.

I already setup the daily mail cron, and now have a question.

Do i also need to Set up the cron task with shell access? what is this?

What can i do?
