Hi, I search thru the forum and get the dailymail curl as below:
curl -o /dev/null http://example.com/mail/dailymail.php?pw=mypass 1> /dev/null 2> /dev/null

How about complete line command for resume curl?

My host have just transfer to new server and wget is not working right now, but once I try, curl can work.

So, decided to use curl now.

Hi Dean,
I currently planning to buy a new domain to start another online business. And the viral marketing script I have brought can't work correctly in my current host... thus, I have no choice and have to find other host.
 
I am considering to get your host, but before I order, I would like to confirm the script can fully work in your host, else, it's no use.
 
Thus, I am requesting to you to create temporary access to cpanel so that i can try out whether the viral marketing script can work correctly in your host.

What if I want to change the whole folder name from listmail to mail ?

I currently have the script install under domain.com/listmail, I plan to change it to domain.com/mail, so that the link is shorter (especially the Link Tracking).

Will it be very hard? ....

yes, recently my list become a lot bigger.

So? still need to wait for how many days for me to upgrade to latest version with this problem fixed?

List is gold, i have to always do backup with it.

btw, I seriously need the function to check the email validity. Due to some of the list that I get is from ffa, and it consist of a lot of invalid email address, I hope that can have the function to let me Import list,

once import done, the screen will tell me "Import done",

then it will do the validation automatically, then only send out email (running at background without me always have to be at pc to monitor the progress of emailverify.php

no, there is no "file 0 bytes in size", and the file size is not 0, i have already check.

there is such a record "2006-06-20_08-41-21.LM.gz3M"

last time don't have this problem, backup always fine.

It only start to happen in these few days.... help ><

Customization, Integration / Pause a particular list and charset problem

Hi dean, I would like to have this:

In the Mailing List Settings we can have a checkbox to pause the particular email campaign..

I am facing problem because everyday I have to import some leads into new list, and sometimes I have to stop the particular list for a while. But if I set all the user's followup sequence to "end", later it can't go back to where they are..

This shouldn't be hard to implement right?

Also, after changing the charset, I am trying to copy chinese word into lmp, and click save. But it seems some words can remain, while some words change to other unreadable type..

Can you help to make it fully compatible with chinese word? China have 13 billion ppl, and I don't want to lose the chance on this market :-)

I have just try it out. Extremely slow for a big list..

Is it possible to after click validate, let it run at server, at the same time we can close the browser? (automated)

Or possible for multi thread in checking?


And I'm not sure whether the checking result is accurate. I have just done some testing by simply copy 12 emails that is Deleted, and email to them , after some time only receive 4 email delivery failure's notification.

Before that I have also try out some email verifier software, the result also not accurate. Every time I scan with those software, it give different result, sometimes the difference is quite big...

I now have a suggestion, if you really want to implement this in future release, you may consider let user to skip the type of email domain that they want to skip from script scan, since some domain don't seems to allow dns to check the email validity, thus script will assume it's not valid and delete all those email from a particular domain. Besides, you should put priority for deletion of non exist email, but not those email that  when checking with script, it get smtp timeout etc...

Another suggestion, when click import user, we can tick the send welcome message to user. I always import leads, thus everytime will reach the sending process page.

Since it already have the resume sending script etc.. why not after the import done, show a status "SUCCESS IMPORT ALL SUBSCRIBER" first, then only show the sending welcome email status. It will reduce confusion and not letting us to always there to see the process until it finish sending. This is my comment

Yes, I totally agree with idea provided by webshaman.

You should write your sales letter in terms of benefit. Write any benefit your list can provide, so that differ people that have differ requirement will also see your script benefit.

Then play with some business figure calculation, maybe in your email marketing, tell them how much they will lose if they not using the particular function etc....

Killer Sales Letter is extremely ****

Programming + marketing skill = $

IF you don't have much time to write, you can just go to elance to hire somebody to do web copywriting and email sales letter for you.

I would like to have this function to check the email validity.
Last time I do try before some email validator software, but it is not accurate, also it need to send mailing via the software.

Finally I choose LMP, because all things can be done via cron and no need for me to send via software and many other benefits.

I like your script so much.

I am getting suspended from host due to the following reason

Your account was suspended due to a lot of emails
bouncing back to the server, this causes the server
to slow way down.

Some of the leads that I import into LMP, the email is not valid.
Thus, LMP will process bounce for me via bounce cgi script.

But, bounce back make the server slow down... Any advice to easily remove the invalid email before I import email to LMP?
