some email address not accepted

Hi, I have try to add some email address in which the email itself is very long.


But when add, it say error..

Is it because lmp have a validation check on the email address length?

If so, what can I do, since i know the email is valid.

While the "check valid email" function should not check the size of the incoming email, the size of the field in MySQL is set to allow 255 characters.

Are you seeing an error saying the address is in an incorrect format, or is there another error?

You can email me at dean@listmailpro.com with the email address you are trying to use so that I can try to recreate the error and fix it.

Several of customers are receiving this and even I. I inserted the code again with no changes and got it again. I tried another email address and it worked.

Any ideas?

What is the length, format, domain, and any special characters in the email address you are submitting?  Is the email address longer than 255 characters?

There are no special characters nor is the length too long.

We tried several addresses.

I recommend upgrading ListMail to at least v1.85.

If you continue to have the probelm can you please provide an email address that causes the error to dean@listmailpro.com? I will not send any email to it and if I do I will modify it so it is not the same email but still causes the problem.
