Error happen, will resume.php auto resume?
« on: May 03, 2006, 08:53:24 am »
Hi, when importing email and sending welcome message, suddenly get this error

Average speed: per second. per hour.

Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to localhost:25 in /home/bhlaff/public_html/listmail/admin.php on line 1482
Connect to server localhost:25 failed.

Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/bhlaff/public_html/listmail/admin.php on line 1654

Warning: fputs(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/bhlaff/public_html/listmail/admin.php on line 1658

Warning: fgets(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /home/bhlaff/public_html/listmail/admin.php on line 1660

Sending error. Check your mail settings.

Due to this, only 900 of the 2500 email is successfully sent, then I wait for a few minutes and click Resume Sending, but i get a message stated sending complete

I have resume.php setup before that.
So, will it auto resume sending?

A suggestion here, maybe you can generate an email to admin so that admin know the resume to the mailing list is done.

Else, we just don't know is it already resume, already fully sent out..

Yes, if resume.php is set up it should automatically resume your mailing.  I will make a note of your suggestion.
