Cron confusion... resume/dailymail?
« on: May 29, 2008, 11:40:45 am »
So I have a new install of your ListMailPRO running, very happy with it so far, thanks! I've scheduled up dailymail.php via a shell script (checks to make sure its not already running etc, then runs it)... All is working good..

Now digging through the manual more as I'm starting to tweak config changes etc I see there is auto-resume. I've RTFM on it and all is good, no issue, but one question that I didn't see answered, searched here too... Do you continue to leave dailymail scheduled, and add a second cron for the resume? Or does the resume take over the dailymail spot?

So currently I have dailymail setup to run 7pm daily... do I just add another for resume to run every 5min all day/every day? Or does resume replace it?

Thanks for the help

It's a completely seperate cron job and they do totally seperate things, keep both of them.

So to answer your question, YES just add the resume to run every 5, 10 or 15 minutes or so.  And keep your dailymail to run at 7pm or whenever.
