Sequence and Delay with followups question
« on: September 26, 2009, 08:28:10 pm »
Hi,
I have a list where I want to send a welcome email, and then send another email 24 hours after a person signs up.
Is this possible with ListMailPro?
I looked into it, and it seems to me that you can only set it so that the welcome email goes out, and then the next email goes out between 1 minute and 24 hours later, depending on what time of day the signup occured.
In other words, you cannot make it so that the 2nd email goes out exactly 24 hours after they signup. Instead of always being 24 hours later, it would be a *maximum* of 24 hours later (and a minimum of 1 minute later).
Please let me know if I have got this completely wrong.
Thanks!

Hi,

LMP will not do this, the reason is that Dailymail, the CRON script can only be setup to run once a day.  That is when the followups are sent, there is no other way to control exact scheduling with List Mail Pro.

If you want software this accurate I suggest you have a look at something like Aweber, or GetResponse which will do that, but you will have to pay a premium to use those services.

Good luck...
