Custom Fields not appearing

I have entered a couple of custom fields and they appear in my new user page etc.

When I am adding a followup and select the drop down for message fields I do not see my Custom Fields. The message is: -

Current List Only
No list-specific codes configured.

I have tried including ' !user1 ' into my followup and also the name I used ' !agent ' but they are not picking up any data.

I know its simple but I'm missing it !

Bob,

It looks like you're mixing up Custom Fields and Message Codes.  The popup when setting up a message is for Message Codes.  In order to output the user's data for Custom Field 1 in your message you need to set up a Message Code of this type, either under Global Codes or in the codes for that specific list.

Thanks for pointing out my error.

Please don't give up on me. I assure you I am not usually this dim !!

I love the programme. You can use it with only one brain cell operating. (usually)
