have you tested it any with 5.x.x

and what version runs it the best!,

and also what version of mysql have you tested
it up to!, and results.

It's coming around to the new year and upgrade
waters.

Hi Dean,

My question is simple but hopefully doable!, do you know.

I need the redirect to a certain website if data in user7 field when someone signs up to my mailing list through signup.php like normal method.

If the data in user7 is "Blah" it will redirect to yahoo.com, if they do not input data into user7 it will redirect liken normal letting them know to check their email for the welcome message.

is this posisble!, and how.

Hi,

I have a question??

when I set up in configuration for reconnect every _____ emails
it really don't work well, with our system, it just mails until finished. no matter what I set here.

ok, fine.

I need the following to happen, how would be the best way to set
this up!.

let's say no matter how many I mail, I want it to mail out
500 emails and then stop (pause for 50 or 60 seconds, let me set
this and then it will resume mailing out the message.

it's most of the time html message, and when I mail out is
heavy and start overloading the server after 1000 or more. So
This is why I want the pause.

I had created a re-load script that when it fails mailing
it would resume with the id of the message like if I hit resume,
from exiting the mailing. but I had to re-imput the id of the resume,
evertime manually couldn't get it to remember it.

I am using SMTP, to mail out.  I have a pretty powerful server,
custom built and setup just to mail out emails.

I just need to pause the mailing!, what the best way to do this,
and I don't understand why it will not re-connect after ___
emails and then resume, and I want to specify the amount
of time it waits.

any help is appreciated,

Hi Dean,

I have a big question here. hope you can help!

I need the following to happen, hopefully possible.

When it reports to the database under the listmail users
table it inserts how many bounces and at what time it happened.

ok, I need a script that will insert into a new table (lm_bouncesrep)
and have it with 3 rows, UID-BRES-STAMP

I need uid, who bounced, BRES why they bounced, and STAMP when they bounced, and if you want BTIME how many times they have bounced.

I can write my own page to output this info, but I need to collect it somehow.

where do I collect, this. I would think in the code where it reads the emails bounced back, and finds the email whom from and tags the lm_users table with who bounced, and when.

I just need to know why!, they bounced. and put that info in a seperate table.

Can you help!,

Hi,

i need listmail to allow duplicate subscribers.
I have a pdf for download and if someone requests,
it they get it as a attachment.

ok, the first time is a charm. but, I have
a client who lost his pdf, and wanted to re-request
it well when he tried to subscribe to list (#1),
it said he is already subscribed, how do I make it not
filter this and allow him to re-request his pdf.

General Help & How-To / Problem With Mailing To our list

Hello,

my script installed will not mail more than a 1,000 at
one single session, it displays a error, server said, failure.

and then I can just hit resume on and on, and still it just
will not mail more than 1000.

I am mailing a list of over 100,000 with a private server,
dedicated. and have php V: 4.4.2 and apache V: 1.3.34
i had problem with the origanl mailer working and so I upgraded
and installed the new script, version. of the mailer.

WEll it works, great but want mail more than 1000 at a
single time.

what could be causing this???

here is the exact error message:, and i have my setup
working 100% test after test, with re-connect after
6000 in the settings.

Hi Listmailpro,

I am building my site, and am in the process of building
the sign up for the newsletter.

I am wondering about the "Alternately, enter a URL to forward the user to"
function.

how do I represent the tags of !fname (firstname)

Can I do this and it work!, if not how do I make it work.

Put the following url in the alternately url to forward:

/index.php?fname=!fname&lname=!lname

would this work??? with your system.

I have not went through the test, I want to ask first.

then I have my index.php, $get those tags and so them on the
page.

I am trying to do this to stop me from having to re-create my
page for the custom html to insert.

General Help & How-To / Question Regarding New Version - Mailing

Hello ListMailPro,

My questions is simple: When you have let's say
3 lists, I am running the older version and when I mail to
list 1 and 2 if the same person is in both lists he receives mail
of the same message.

Is or does the new version allow mailing to the entire list
and not double mailing like this, or I am just going to have
to come up with something to solve this?

I need it to let someone signup to list 1 and 2 but only
mail then once when mailing a total.

See I have two lists one for mailing list and one for
a guide subscription in which they get a 4 day guide. I am
mailing out my newsletter and this one guy who signuped up
for my newsletter the mailing list and then he also signed
up for the guide list and now he is getting two of every message
I send out, becuase he is on list 1 and 2 and when I mail
them he get's two messages (see what I am getting at)

Any Recommendation or does the new version do something
that I am not knowing....

Hi Dean,

My question regards the html code for your thank you pages and error pages.

Can I insert php commands and insert into this page. like having it insert their information into another database somewhere else on my server for other purposes.

for example:

They signup for my new program and on the thank you page it can display the information they input. ok. i need it to let that information be submitted to another database on this server. Letting me email them from another location for another reason.

Can I insert php into my thank you pages. ?
if not that would be a great addon to make that possible.

Hi Dean,

would it be possible to build into the new version comming out soon the ability to import with rules.

example, I have a file (.txt) and it has the following setup:

firstname/lastname/emailaddress
firstname/lastname/emailaddress
firstname/lastname/emailaddress
firstname/lastname/emailaddress

and when importing you could select what is your delimeter
by selecting it and then importing. Then Listmail will
filter the file and know what is what.

Delimeter I would want:

,
.
/
\
[
]
{
}

is that possible:

Hi Dean,

is this possible to build in the future version of list mail!

The ability to copy followups and have them put on another list without
loosing that first followup.

So let's say I have 13 followups on list 2 and I need them on list 3, I could just click copy to list 3 and it would copy all of them to list 3 and then when you load the page for list 3 it shows those followups in that list now and list 2.

Is that possible?

Hi Dean,

I would love to see where you could be able to schedule emails to go out
down to the seconds of time.

Like if I wanted it to mail out tomorrow at 4:50:09 EST.

Is that possible to build in?
