General Help & How-To / Message Disappears After Preview Sent

This problem occurs when I attempt to "Send an Email"

Upon entering  text and HTML message in the Message Composition area I click the 'Preview' button. The preview message gets sent and looks fine in the email client. But the original message disappears from the Message Composition window, thus preventing me from sending the message to my list.

I suspect I might have some illegal character in the message. If so I don't know what to look for.

Any help would be appreciated.

Email Web Hosting / Amazon SES

I just learned about the Amazon SES email sending service. It seems like a perfect way to avoid the delivery problems and restrictions of sending through a regular web host.

Has anybody here successfully integrated ListMailPro with Amazon SES?  Are you having any problems using the service?

It would be great if someone could share the settings they used on the ListMail configuration page send mail through SES.

General Help & How-To / Trouble Restoring Database

I'm trying to transfer my listmail installation to a new server.  I backed up the original database and uploaded the gz backup file to the listmail folder on the new server in ASCII mode. In the new installation, when I select the backup file in ListMail's Restore section I get the following error:

Warning: fopen(./attach/2009-08-09_03-15-00.LM) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/charl242/public_html/mail/editconf.php on line 231
gz: could not open input and/or output file

Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to solve it?

Development, Suggestions / [Bug] Upgrade Problem - "Unknown Column"

I just tried an upgrade from 1.84 to 1.87d.

I overwrote the old files with the new ones and went to my /listmail folder in the browser.  It displayed this error message after about 15 seconds while running 'editlists.php':

List 1 Settings:
Unknown column 'remsubj' in 'field list'

Any suggestions on what the problem could be?
I'm able to log into phpMyAdmin but don't know what table to look
in for the errant column.

General Help & How-To / Error When Sending Email

When I submit an email to my list the script always goes to domail.php but displays 'Page Not Found' in the browser.

Fortunately the email DOES go out to the list.  And the message is saved in 'Sent Messages'.

Any clue as what causes the error page?

General Help & How-To / Preventing Mailing to New Imports

I'm transferring my subscriber list to a new server.

I set up Listmail on the new server and have already set up the same
followup messages as were on the old server.

How can I import the list to the new Listmail installation without triggering the Welcome message and same sequence of messages they already saw on the old server?
