Hi Dean,

Can I pay for you to do this for me?  How do I submit such an order?  I probably won't be migrated until late this week or early next week.

General Help & How-To / Special Patches
« on: July 28, 2007, 05:25:06 pm »
Hey Dean,

1,000 Thanks for taking the time.

My list is 146,000 in size.  I have to migrate because my host only uses Plesk now and I am in desperate need of a server upgrade.  I'm still running RH 7.3.  I'm also moving to CentOS.

What special patches do you recommend for qmail to make listmailpro work like a charm?

General Help & How-To / Migrating from Cpanel to Plesk
« on: July 27, 2007, 11:57:48 am »
I'm moving all my accounts from my 2001 Pentium 3 to a Dual Core.  My host requires me to go from Cpanel to Plesk.  I previously had Exim configured using Dean's settings, it worked like a charm is there any customization need on Plesk.

Anybody run into any problems when migrating like this?

Any input is much appreciated.

Great input.  I have those configs. in place and I do find that Yahoo has been my big problem for about 2 months now. I have contacted them to little avail.

That exim config, works like a charm.

I will try contacting Yahoo again though.

1000 Thanks.

I didn't see this decline in performance when I switched to CPanel 11.  I saw it after I switched to maildir mail box format from the old mbox.  Sorry, I just remembered.

With Cpanel 11, I have seen a 20% decline in speed of delivery.

General Help & How-To / Unconfirmed IPs
« on: May 19, 2006, 04:29:10 am »
I'm getting hundreds of false signups everyday, I have confirmation on.  So they never make it to the list.  Is there anyway to find out the IP that signed up an unconfirmed users?

Testimonials, Feedback / The Best I Have Used.
« on: March 18, 2006, 06:41:42 am »
This has got to be the best list software I have ever used.  I have been sending an email newsletter out since 1996 now to over 150,000 opt-ins a week.

I have used about 10 different programs / services for my list over the years.  And nothing can compare to power, support, and super low price of ListMail.

ListMail I have been using for about the last three years and it is the most reliable system I have ever used.

The best thing is that Dean constantly supports his customers.  He follows the industry and always posts tips for getting the max response out newsletters. Also, god forbid your host screws with something, Dean is always there for a quick answer.

Keep it up Dean, you rule!

You're software rocks!  It really makes managing a huge list easy.  Glad to see you continue to improve the software.

I have been sending AOLers text version for years.  I'm considering sending AOLers HTML and text.  Just wonder if anybody has tried this and what success you are having.

1000 Thanks for any input.

General Help & How-To / Nonconfirmations
« on: October 21, 2005, 10:55:37 am »
Hey Dean,

Just wondering how non-confirms are handled.  I have it set to confirm users.

Are those users who don't confirm removed for the database after a while?

1000 Thanks

General Help & How-To / Here goes:
« on: July 23, 2005, 03:46:02 am »
You should be able to be into PHPmyadmin through the control panel software for your site.  Most hosts offer CPanel or Plesk.

If you upgrade it should solve it for future mails, but this mailing would have to be cancelled.

General Help & How-To / I had that one too long time ago.

Here is the post on it:

You probably aren't running the lastest version and a user deleted an email while it was running.

Just delete that users through PHPmyadmin and run it again.

If you upgrade or click the option to save users who delete, you won't run into this agian.
