Development, Suggestions / Pause Sending.
« on: May 15, 2005, 06:31:06 pm »
My list has gotten so big that I can't send it to my queue without clogging up the directory close to 95%.  Is there a way to pause while sending an email out?   That way I could let the server catch up a bit and then send it out in multipe batches.

Upgrading to 1.8 helped. It cut the delivery time in about half.

General Help & How-To / Export Users Not Working.
« on: October 02, 2004, 08:16:05 pm »
Everytime I try to export users, I have to download to my local computer via FTP.  I also only get a partial list of my users.  I have 104,703 in my list and just over 65,000 show up in the CSV file.

It was working fine up to 100,000 users.

Any idea how to remedy this?

General Help & How-To / Having trouble again this week.
« on: August 23, 2004, 05:45:26 am »
I'm having trouble again this week.  This type of message came up 5 times through the time of this mailing.

Server said:503 valid RCPT command must precede DATA

Queue Row: queueid=5bb742df4cc2e05dafd3443c4ff350b3 msgtype=1 userid=124907 msgid=87 email=)

I deleted the queue mail through PHPmyadmin and it works fine again.  But, I'm wondering if there way to find out which IP address this now deleted user has input from, maybe someone wrote a script to submit names to my newsletter.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Paul

General Help & How-To / I fixed it!
« on: August 09, 2004, 06:15:20 am »
For anyone who is having this trouble:

The easiest way to find the error is to search by the message id.  It will be listed as the first row in the table, since the mailing is stuck on it.  And just remove it.

It should happen next mailing since the users name has been deleted. But, I'll let you know if I run into any trouble.

General Help & How-To / Trying to fix
« on: August 09, 2004, 06:05:38 am »
I'm trying to save my mailing by remove that users and uiq.  The id does not appear.  I guess it's due to the that bug listed a few posts below.  I will change my settings to:

"Keep removed users in database but don't mail"  to save future mailings.  But, is there anyway to save this mailing?

I upgraded to the newest version about 2 months ago and everything has been running real smooth.  Then today, in the middle of mailing 98,000 people, I got this errror:

Sending error. Check your mail settings.

Queue Row: queueid=5eb38bda9ae340dbb6736495fae2b294 msgtype=1 userid=74854 msgid=85 email=)

It look to me like I have a dead email address some where in there.  With a ")", but I searched for ")" in the list and I can't find it.  Any idea what to do?  I can't mail to my list?

I'm using Cpanel.  They just came out with a new version that slowed down the delivery rate, but it has a new security patch, so I have to keep it.

I have a list of about 100,000 prior to the upgrade it would take 24 hours (4-5K delivered per hour) to send out to the list totally.  Now it takes about 4-5 days (1-2K delivered per hour).  Any idea how I can speed this up?  Please help?

I love listmailpro.  I've been using it for a two years and loving it!

Thanks,

Paul
