PHP 5.3 + register_globals
« on: September 19, 2011, 05:32:43 am »
Please can someone give definitive answers to the following 2 questions:

Is the current version of ListMailPro (v1.88) compatible with PHP 5.3?
I have found one posting that suggests it is, but I would prefer a definitive answer.

Will the current version of ListMailPro (v1.88) work with register_globals set to OFF?
I'm unclear from the forum on this one.

Doesn't anyone have a definitive answer for this?

ListMailPro isn't freeware and should have clear server/software requirements.
This may exist somewhere, but I cannot find it.

It would also help if this forum was moderated to get rid of all the spam messages:
a) it looks extremely unprofessional
b) it's very difficult to find anything useful because it's swamped with spam.

Is there no one using this forum that can answer this question?
Is there no one running the latest unmodified version of ListMailPro on PHP 5.3 with register_globals off?
Is there a definitive list of requirements and software version / configuration compatibility anywhere for ListMailPro?

With over 200 views of my posting, isn't anyone else interested or concerned with the lack of proper information on this subject?

Did you ever find the answer to this? I'm wondering the same thing.

Yes, LMP was designed to work with servers with register_globals either on or off.
